To be honest, it is very refreshing to have a business with a big manufacture like Yokota Thread Co.since the artisans & manufacture we often had relationship was relatively small. Anyhow, in order to compete with other sellers in this global market, I would like to handle as many threads as possible.

I ordered as much as I could carry for 2020, then Covid-19 pandemic hit. Well, Sashiko thread do not have any expiration dates so it can stay on our shelf for a few years. However, if someone wish to stitch a lot for this winter, I thought it is a good idea to offer the Bulk Sale.

Thick

The thickness is a bit less than 1.0 mm like 0.9mm or so. You may feel it is almost 0.8 mm. Please refer to the photo on the article below. (Cotton 100%, unit: 20/6 )

Thin

This is the thinest Sashiko thread we carry. I would say it is about 0.75 mm or even 0.7 mm. The thickness changed depends on the tension. The thread on all the photo (article below) have no tension. (Cotton 100%, unit: 20/4 )
